Terms & Conditions

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund, or an exchange.  Please report any issues within 24hours of receiving your order with photographs to support your request.  You will receive your refund of the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods back.  Return postage is at the cost of the customer.

The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.

Salon Covid-19 policy

 

The safety of our clients and staff is our number one priority so we have many procedures in place to allow you to enjoy your treatment in confidence. We request that you please cancel your appointment if you have tested positive for Covid-19 or if you are feeling unwell in order to keep us all safe and well.   

 

If you are high risk or vulnerable of any illness but would still like a pamper, please let us know when booking as upon request we have a private treatment room with a separate entrance allowing you to arrive for your appointment without having to see anybody other than your therapist. 

Pre-payments are also available to avoid stopping at reception and your therapist will wear additional PPE and a face covering upon request if you would feel safer.

  

Cancellation Policy

When booking an appointment at Miss Unique you are agreeing to all terms and conditions.

 

All appointments require a minimum of 24hrs notice for any changes or cancellations.  Cancellations within this time will incur a 50% treatment fee.   

 

Failure to attend your appointment with or without any contact will result in the full treatment price being charged for the time which you reserved, to cover the loss of salon earnings.  Future appointments may not be booked until all outstanding fees are paid.  A 25% non refundable booking fee maybe requested to secure your next appointment.  This payment will be taken off your treatment price.

If you are more than 10minutes late to your appointment then the treatment may be cancelled or cut short as there will not be enough time to complete the service.  You will be charged 100% of the original booked treatment.

When booking Nail Enhancement Removals or Lash Enhancement Removals if these are no longer required please inform the salon 24hours prior to your booking.  Failure to do so may result in you being charged for the appointment slot you reserved which is time that could have been allocated to another client. 

 

Your email reminder contains a link to your account which lists all appointments which have been booked under your name.  You are able to amend, reschedule or cancel appointments up to 24hours prior to your booking.  Please contact reception if you require any extra assistance.

If you book a treatment and cancel it on the day of your appointment, please note that you will still be charged for the treatment, due to the lack of notice causing a loss of salon time which we will be unable to recover.​

When using our online booking service please contact the salon for clarification if you are in any doubt of the service you require. If you are booked incorrectly the therapist will not have time to perform a longer service.  Equally if you book too much time for a service you no longer require for whatever reason you will still be charged for the time which was allocated to you. It is crucial your booking matches the type and duration of the treatment you need.

We do not offer refunds for treatments, if there are any issues with our services please contact the salon within 48hrs of you having a treatment at Miss Unique and we will rectify the issue.  Any nail breakages after 72hrs will be charged to be reapplied.

Children



Whilst we welcome children to our salon may we please request they only accompany you to quick treatments or if they themselves are having a beauty treatment.  Miss Unique offers relaxing treatments to busy clients requiring much needed “down time” and it is very important to us that we respect this and provide a quiet and stress free environment to a high standard for all of our clients throughout the salon. 

Unfortunately the safety of young children cannot be guaranteed when accompanying an adult who is having a beauty or nail treatment. Children are the responsibility of a parent or guardian whist in the salon at all times and it is very difficult for you to control them whilst having your own treatment or be able to stop them from interrupting others.  It also makes the service stressful for the therapist providing the treatment when our client is constantly moving to tend to a young child. For this reason we will not guarantee our services on these individuals.  Your treatment may be cut short to avoid disrupting others and you will still be charged 100% of the service you booked.

Following the advice of our insurance providers and the feed back from clients we are implementing a salon policy that no under 12’s will be allowed into the salon to accompany an adult having a treatment unless they are having a treatment themselves.  Please contact the salon if this will effect any future appointments.


There are, on some occasions, for very short appointments and where the children can be supervised appropriately, that this policy will be wavered.
